This tool only checks the A-level subject and grade requirements published on each university's official course pages (2027 entry, verified October 2026). Meeting them is not an offer: most courses also have admissions tests, interviews, written work, portfolios or GCSE requirements. It covers 1035 undergraduate courses across every subject area at eleven UK universities — Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, LSE, Warwick, Edinburgh, Manchester, King's College London, Bristol and Durham; courses with identical requirements are grouped, with the other titles listed on the card. Always confirm on the official pages.

FAQ
What does A*AB mean, and how is it compared?

A*AB means three A-levels at A*, A, B, in any subjects and in any order. The grades are sorted best first and compared position by position with each course's standard offer; where a course publishes alternatives such as "AAA or A*AB", the better one for you counts.

If my grades meet the offer, can I apply or get in?

Not necessarily. This compares grades only: many courses also require particular subjects (such as Mathematics or Chemistry) at particular grades, plus admissions tests, interviews and GCSEs. Add your three subjects in the tool above and every course is checked against its subject requirements.

Where does the data come from, and how often is it updated?

Everything comes from the 2027-entry requirements on each university's official course pages, checked one by one in October 2026. We update it each year once the universities publish the next cycle's requirements. Always confirm on the official pages.
