Wisesprout · Free, and staying free

Free Learning Platform

Good study resources don't belong behind a paywall.

Official past papers, original practice questions, a course finder and study guides, put together by the same researchers who teach at Wisesprout. Open to every student.

How to use them together

Start from where you are now.

  1. Choosing subjects

Use the Course Finder first: which A-levels a course asks for, and what grades. Not decided yet? Work backwards and see which courses each subject opens up.

  2. Through the year

Finish a topic, then practise that topic. Questions you get wrong come back on a spaced-repetition schedule, so weak spots don't slip through.

  3. Before the exam

Go back to the official papers. Sit full papers for your own board under timed conditions and mark them against the mark scheme, so the real exam feels familiar.

Common questions
Is it really all free?

Yes. Past papers, practice, the course finder and the blog are free, and staying free. Only the programmes are paid: mentorship, Future Scholars and Research Immersion.

Do I need an account?

Past papers, the course finder and the blog work straight away. Practice needs a free account so it can save your answers, your mistake book and your review schedule.

Do you host the past papers?

No. Every paper links to the official PDF published by the exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR or Cambridge International); we don't host any files. The latest series usually becomes public 9 to 12 months later.

How reliable is the course finder?

It covers 2027 entry and is checked line by line against each university's official course pages. The university's own website is always the final word, so check again before you apply.
