Typical offer range AAA–AAB. 4-year degree. Language entry: French, German, Spanish or Italian need an A-level in that language (grade B if taking two Core Sciences, A if taking one Core Science plus a "soft" science); Japanese or Mandarin need no prior study but evidence of linguistic ability (e.g. GCSE grade 7/A in a foreign language); Japanese/Mandarin also need AS-level Chemistry (B) or a full A-level Chemistry (B). The AS-level Chemistry route is not checked here. If you take only one Core Science, an AAA offer is possible when you also take Geography, Psychology, Environmental Studies or Physical Education. Overlapping subjects (Maths with Further Maths, Biology with Human Biology) are not counted separately.
