- In the ABB route, the third A-level from the list can be replaced by grade 2 in any STEP paper. If your qualifications do not fully meet the subject requirements, you may be asked to take a free online physics test; passing it then becomes a condition of your offer. Applicants without A-level Mathematics and Physics should apply for Physics with Foundation Year. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A-levels, a pass in the practical element is required.
