AQA A-level Geography (7037)
AQA A-level Geography (7037) is assessed by two 2 hour 30 minute written papers and a fieldwork investigation. Paper 1, Physical geography, and Paper 2, Human geography, are each worth 120 marks and 40%, split into Sections A (36 marks), B (36 marks) and C (48 marks), with short answer, levels of response and extended prose questions. The remaining 20% is an individual fieldwork investigation of 3,000–4,000 words (60 marks), marked by teachers and moderated by AQA. The course is linear.
